The invention relates to an assembly part for an adapter of a PEG tube, which on its distal end comprises an internal retaining part that is supported on the stomach wall and which has an open proximal end. The adapter has an external retaining part, which is supported on the abdominal wall of the patient, comprising elements for connecting the PEG tube and for connecting a conduction system to the tube. The assembly part (3) is configured as a loose spacer part for the external retaining part (5) of the adapter (2) for placing on the abdominal wall and fixes, the PEG tube to prevent it from sliding back during the connection of the adapter to the tube. In a preferred embodiment, the assembly part consists of a retaining housing (14) and a retaining clip (15).
