The filler is used in extremely low, tending to zero, densities of irrigation. It can find application in the purging of exhaust gases from injurious components of very low concentrations and in some technological processes wherein such concentration are is use. The filler comprises horizontal plates (1) of small height, on which, during irrigation, under the effect of capillary forces, a longitudinal drop is being formed fully wetting places (1). Between the individual plates (1), bridges (2) are formed for discharging the liquid, the bridges (2) between a given plate (1) and the underlying one under it are found in the middle between the bridges (2) between this plate (1) and the one underlying it. 4 claims, 4 figures
