The invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to dentistry, and solves the problem of creating a device that prevents the formation of tartar on the lingual surface of the front lower teeth. This is achieved by using a device made of dental material in the form of a relief plate that fits tightly on the lingual side of the teeth, the side of which faces the teeth repeats the surface relief of these teeth with partial interdental space, the lower edge of the plate repeats the relief of the edge of the gum, and the upper edge of the plate 2-5 mm below the cutting edge of teeth, while the surface of the plate facing the tongue is smooth and the edges of the plate are thinned.
