The method is for the despatch of postal pieces, packets and similar from a sender to a receiver. Movement is undertaken by a transporter and delivery is only made when there is agreement established with control data. The control data is a unique undisclosed code or one directly readable out of the receiver characteristic data, which is characteristic for the despatch in question. This code, before or at the time of delivery, is made known to the receiver, who passes it to the transporter for checking that there is agreement.
