Use of angiotensin II antagonists for treating vascular headache not caused by hypertension

Use of an angiotensin II type 1 receptor antagonist of the general formula (I) in the manufacture of a medicament for the prophylactic and/or therapeutic treatment of a vascular headache condition such as migraine, in a subject suffering from, or susceptible to, such a vascular headache condition is disclosed. Pharmaceutical formulations useful in any one of these vascular headache conditions, as well as a method of treatment thereof is also disclosed.
