METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF PERFORATED ULCER OF STOMACH FRONT WALL AND DUODENUM

摘要

A method for surgical treatment of perforated ulcer of stomach front wall and duodenum consists in suturing of perforation with two rows of stitches followed by coating stitch line with epiploon piece sutured with interrupted stitches around the stitch line. The epiploon piece is covered with liver ligament cut off from abdominal wall and dissected in longitudinal direction, this is fixed by interrupted stitches in such a way that ligament edges overlap epiploon edges.
