METHOD FOR ASSESSING EFFICACY OF DIETOTHERAPY IN PATIENTS WITH DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE I

The method for assessing the efficacy of the dietotherapy in the patients with diabetes mellitus type I comprises the daily evaluation of glycemia with the analysis of hypoglycemia episodes. In addition, the rate of the provoked and non-provoked hypoglycemia is assessed for one week. Finally, the overall index of the dietotherapy efficacy is calculated for the individual patient as EDT= NPHG/PHG.
