The method for treating the ischemia of the lower limbs by the orthograde femoral-popliteal autovenous by-passing comprises the skin incision above the large saphenous veins, the ligation of the venous branches, the destruction of the venous valves, the mobilization of the upper and lower ends of the vein, the hydraulic inflation of the vein, the distal and proximal anastomosing, and layer-by-layer suturing. In addition, the large saphenous veins fixed in its own bed is further used as a by-passwhile the proximal anastomosis with the common femoral artery is applied.
