A process for decyanidation of recirculated water of the cycle of end cooling the coke-oven gas is performed by exhausting cyan from the water with air containing 0.03-0.1 % of carbon dioxide with the simultaneous vacuumization at a residual pressure of 10-15 kPa and pH of 5-7. Thereafter cyan is burnt off to nitrogen in the conditions of oxygen lack at the temperature of 1100 - 1200 DEGREE C.
