The proposed device for studying objects of plant origin contains a laser, a laser radiation modulator, a collimator, a lens, a photodetector, a spectrum analyzer, an indicator, and additionally, the first pulse counter, with an AND logic element at the output, the second pulse counter, with a switch at the output, and a controlled unit for setting the measurement time interval. The first input of the unit for setting the measurement time interval is connected to the output of the photodetector, the second input is connected to output of the modulator and the first input of the first counter, the third input is used as the device reset input, the fourth input is connected to the output of the switch and the input of the indicator, and the output is connected to the first input of the first counter. The output of the AND logic element is connected to the second inputs of the counters and the control input of the switch.
