A MOVABLE BIOFILTER 'UKRAINSKA ZIRKA' (UKRAINIAN STAR)

A movable biofilter consists of a container with biorotor partially immersed in water being supplied along the pipeline into the container for purification, biorotor is composed of the outer water transparent cylindrical shell divided by radial walls into sections filled with floating filtering charge, and the space of each section being connected in the zone of biorotor rotation where the pipeline for discharge of purified water is disposed. The outer shell is made of solid and perforated straight walls connected in series between them in such a way that form a star-shaped octagon divided by straight radial partitions into sections in which the filtering charge is disposed, and partitions themselves are joined in the central part of biorotor to the perforated cylinder in which a trough is disposed, and water being discharged through the mentioned trough. Moreover the apparatus being additionally equipped with systems of gas saturation and water circulation.
