METHOD OF ESTIMATING DISTURBANCE OF THE METABOLISM OF FREE RADICALS IN PATIENTS WITH RHEUMATIC ARTHRITIS

The proposed method of estimating disturbance of the metabolism of free radicals in patients with rheumatic arthritis implies carrying out the chemoluminescence analysis procedure. The method consists in analyzing the patient blood serum, with graphical presentation of the analysis results, and determining the index of spontaneous luminescence that is defined as the ratio between the length of the chemoluminescence characteristic curve to the length of the line connecting the start point and the end point of the said curve. The disturbance of the metabolism is diagnosed if the value of index of spontaneous luminescence exceeds 1.83.
