TECHNIQUE FOR VIDEOSCOPE-ASSISTED LUMBAR SYMPATHECTOMY

The technique for videoscope-assisted lumbar sympathectomy is performed with the aid of the endoscopic instruments inserted retroperitoneally through the trocars. One miniature lumbotomic access is combined with one endoscopic trocar. The surgery is performed in semi-open mode. The levators are employed for displacing and holding the internal organs in the course of the surgery.
