METHOD FOR TREATING EYE INFLAMMATION UPON PERFORMING KERATOPLASTY IN PATIENTS WITH CORNEAL DYSTROPHY

The method for treating eye inflammation upon performing keratoplasty in the patients with the corneal dystrophy provides for antiseptics, the antibiotics, non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids, fibrinolytics, dehydration drugs, and the drugs facilitating the trophicity and corneal regeneration. Bromelain, trypsin, and rutin are used orally at daily doses of 540, 288, and 600 mg, respectively starting in 3 days prior to keratoplasty and continuing the treatment for three weeks after the surgery.
