A method of growing gymnospermous pumpkin on dry lands for seeds and commercial purposes includes basic and presowing cultivation, sowing, plant cultivation, seed harvesting. The second presowing cultivation and the sowing are carried out for a seed covering depth of 4-6 cm, when the upper ten-centimetre layer of the soil is warmed up to 10-12 DEGREE C, with a growing space of one plant of 100e140 cm or 70x210 cm for obtaining commercial seed, 140x140 cm or 100x210 cm for sowing seed. While harvesting, the commercial seed is subject to the processes of fermentation and washing.
