The proposed device for compensating phase capacitive short-circuit currents and limiting internal overvoltages in a high-voltage electric network contains a power transformer with a star-connected primary winding and the delta-connected secondary winding, a single-phase voltage transformer, reactors, a current transformer, two resistors, a main switch, and a shunting switch.
