METHOD FOR TREATING SECONDARY AMENORRHEA AND HYPOMENSTRUAL SYNDROME IN ADOLESCENT GIRLS

The method for treating the secondary amenorrhea and the hypomenstrual syndrome in adolescent girls consists in the use of non-steroid drug, in particular Clomifen citrate taken per os at a daily dose of 50 mg for 5 days. When the menses does not follow within four weeks, the drug is taken again at the same dose. When the menses appears in time, the second, third, and fourth courses are prescribed at a dose reduced in half starting from Day 5 of the menstrual cycle.
