METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING ASTHENIC SYMPTOM-COMPLEX IN PATIENTS WITH VEGETATIVE DYSTONIA

The method for diagnosing the asthenic symptom-complex in the patients with the vegetative dystonia comprises the use of the questionnaires followed by the qualitative and logical generalization of the anxiety level parameters, psychosocial significance and the severity of the course of the vegetative dystonia. The electrophysiological state of the brain is assessed by measuring the alpha-rhythm over the various areas of the brain. When the duration of alpha-rhythm is normal, the level of the neuroticism is taken into account. The measurements are then assessed quantitatively employing the generalized diagnostic index. When the diagnostic index is equaled or less than -1, the asthenic symptom-complex in the patients with the vegetative dystonia is evident.
