METHOD OF REGULATING THE NUMBER AND HARMFULNESS OF GARDEN WEEVILS (COLEOPTERA, CURCULIONIDAE)

A method to regulate the number and harmfulness of garden weevils consists in monitoring thereof and using exterminating protection agents. When the hydrothermal conditions are optimum for the _mago of the garden weevils, an average daily air temperature is of 12-15 DEGREE c, used are chemical insecticides or mixtures of chemical insecticides with biopreparations in half of the optimum rates of each component. When the conditions are extremal for the development of the imago, average daily air temperatures are above 16 DEGREE c, used are biological preparations.
