A windmill includes a multi-blade wind wheel with a horizontal axis of rotation, a generator and a weather-vane for self-directing to the wind. At that, the housing in which there is placed the generator is placed on a support with displaced axis of rotation, and the wind wheel is arranged as a conical surface on which there are fixed, at angle to the conical surface, spiral-like blades, the surfaces of those increase towards the base of the cone. This invention provides increase of efficiency of the windmill and its operation at minimal wind flows.
