MODULAR STORAGE FOR RADIOACTIVE AND HAZARD WASTE

The proposed modular storage for radioactive and hazard waste contains a sealed chamber and containers for waste that are installed in the chamber. The walls of the chamber are made of several layers of polymeric material and coated with material absorbing radioactive radiation. The walls of the container are made of pressed fiberglass, which is impregnated with binding substance, with polymeric coating. The proposed storage provides long-term safe waste storage and a possibility to transfer waste.
