The gas-discharge tube is filled with working mix of xenon, bromine vapors, and additionally, iodine vapors, with the partial pressure of iodine vapors of 20 ... 30 Pa, bromine vapors of 130 ... 250 Pa, and xenon of 400 ... 500 Pa. The power of electric discharge is 10 ... 500 W, with the radiation at a wavelength within the range of 206 ... 320 nm corresponding to the resonance spectral line of an iodine atom and the spectral band with a wavelength of 253 nm corresponding to a XeJ molecule at the B-X junction and a wavelength of 282 nm corresponding to a XeBr molecule at the B-X junction. The lamp provides a total radiation power of 15 ... 20 W.
