The method for confinement of molten substance during induction smelting consists of following sequence of actions: loading of initial components into the ceramic crucible and creation of alternating magnetic field required for melting the components. Power supply is decreased to the minimum value required for melting the components, and heat withdrawal by the walls of crucible is increased until the temperature on the boundary of the contact of wall and confined substance will not be decreased below the melting point of substance, and solid shell of molten substance is formed on the surface of crucible, with the help of which the molten substance is confined, and the direct contact of the molten substance and wall of crucible is avoided.
