A pneumatic heel of footwear consists of two hollow parts, made in such a manner as to allow moving of the lower part relative the upper immovable part with the aid of a resilient element made as a pressing spring. The upper immovable part of the heel is provided with holders, made as resilient flat cramp-irons, mounted along side walls thereof, with a resilient membrane having an opening in the centre, attached from below of the upper pawls of the holders, and with pressbuttons, which interact with the upper part of the holders. The lower movable part of the heel has side transversal grooves from above and from below to allow the lower pawls of the holders to enter them. The pressing spring is attached to the sole of the footwear together with the upper immovable part of the heel and in the lower part to the end of the heel on the side of a heel-tap.
