A method for treatment of waste-paper mass in turbo-separator includes tangent feeding of waste-paper mass to the receiving chamber of turbo-separator, with arrangement of rotary motion of the mass in the receiving chamber, with separation from mass, under effect of centrifugal force, of heavy and light polluting contaminants, mechanical additional unroving of large components of fiber origin and with sieving the waste-paper mass through the apertures of the sieve. According to the invention, before tangent feeding to the receiving chamber of the turbo-separator the mass is additionally processed in shift flow moving in the channel of the pipeline at rate not less than 8.0 m/s and speed gradient not less than 185 s-1, during not less than 0.79 s. Due to that, increase of selective ability at separation of light polluting contaminants from large components of fiber origin is achieved, with increase of the level of additional unroving of the waste-paper mass in the turbo-separator.
