In the method for centrifugal-hydrodynamic processing of fiber suspension including the tangent supply of the flow of fiber suspension to the conical chambers of the swirl conical rectifiers to create round the axes of the chambers rotary spherical vortex shift flows of suspension, with distribution of fiber material under effect of centrifugal and hydrodynamical forces to short-fiber and long-fiber fraction with simultaneous residual fine rectification of the short-fiber fraction with removal of duct contaminants with specific density not lessthan the same of the fiber; according to the invention, before tangent feed of the fiber suspension to the swirl conical rectifiers it is processed under pressure 280-450 kPa (2.8 û 4.5 kgf/cm), in the shift flow of suspension moving in the channel of the pipeline with the rate not less than 6.0 m/s and speed gradient not less than 850 s-1. This invention includeds as well two versions of installation of the vortex conical rectifiers.
