Hydrodynamic tunnel and canal are devices for measuring hydrodynamic size of vessel objects on water and in water, just like profiles and profiled bars of turbomachines. Hydrodynamic tunnel has closed stream current and four side circular curvent. The movement of water is performed by water jet engine (4) and the current is measured by a blend (7). Model (9) that is being investigated is placed in a tunnel (8), and connected to the tunnel with axes (12). Depending on what we wish to measure, the readings are performed on appropriate instruments, such as power of resistance (19) to movement and drive (13) power. Hydrodynamic canal is variation of hydrodynamic tunnel and the difference is in the fact that the tunnel (8) has been replaced with canal (8a).
