Loam is extruded through a nozzle to create a first pattern (14) of holes extending through the brick (10), then a second pattern (15) of holes is created close to the back side (12) of the brick. The total area of the holes in the second pattern allows post-treatment of the extruded brick. An Independent claim is also included for bricks produced by this method.
