The plate (1) has at least one port (11) and a first heat exchange section (A) at one end, at least one port (12) and a second heat exchange section (B) at the other end, and a third central heat exchange section (C) in between. A medium flows to or from the ports in a direction parallel to a flow line (22) passing through the centre of the plate. The first and second heat exchange sections contain hills and valley, those in the first section extending parallel to an angled line (31) which is oriented at right angles to the plate central length axis (x) and at a non-90 deg. angle to one of the flow lines extending towards a port.
