The device (6) for fixing the distance between the two force exerting devices (1, 3) used to exert a force on the load cell (5) comprises a tube (7) which surrounds the load cell and has its length axis (8) substantially parallel to the direction of the exerted force. A first force exerting device (1) includes a counter-piece (2) which can be moved towards or away from a counter-piece (4) in the second force exerting device (3) whilst the load cell is fixed in between these two devices.
