The resetting facilities (RO, D1, D2, FG; TS, V1, V2, V3, H1, H2) are provided, which is an adjusting operation is held back at any place along the adjustment path, a resetting of the railway points (W) in their original position, is effected with the assistance of the stored potential energy. The storage facility during the adjusting operation is supplied so much potential energy, as is needed for the resetting of the railway points.
