The down sector (8) consists of parallel off gas tubes (9) reaching at their bottom ends into a solids separation chamber (12). The succeeding sector (13) for the off gas flow (11) is connected to the chamber (12) at a point above the bottom ends of the sector (8) tubes (9). Sector (13) tubes (14) ascend in parallel and the two sets of sector tubes (9 and 14) are arranged concentrically, with sector (8) tubes (9) extending below the sector (13) tubes (14).
