Disclosed is a method for diagnosing a cystic ovarian carcinoma in an individual or a cell culture, comprising the following steps: - the calgranulin A and/or calgranulin B concentration(s) is (are) detected in a sample taken from the individual or in the cell culture; - the detected concentration(s) is (are) compared with at least one reference value, a cystic ovarian carcinoma being diagnosed when the detected concentration(s) is (are) above the reference value. Also disclosed is a kit for detecting a cystic ovarian carcinoma in a patient or a cell culture.
