Esterase preparation process and their use for the enzymatic control of pitch deposits (pitch) formed during manufacture of paper pulp.; Esterase commercial interest secreted by the fungus Ophiostoma piceae, process for producing the enzyme, and its use for the control of deposits of tar ( "pitch") during the production of pulp from hardwoods and softwoods. The results show that the new enzyme has high affinity and activity on tributyrin oleate and cholesterol linoleate, being able to reduce the concentrations of different sterol esters and triglycerides during liquid treatment process of pulping eucalyptus and pine and acting directly on the pulp obtained. Both types of compounds are responsible for the formation of deposits of "pitch" pasta and machinery causing significant economic losses during the manufacture of pulp and paper.
