New sulfur containing cyclic peptide radamicin, produced by new Streptomyces strain, useful as inducer of regulating promoters for thiopeptide molecules in peptide production, especially tipA promoter

Sulfur-containing cyclic peptide (I), designated radamicin, is new. Radamicin of molecular formula C48H47N15O11S3 and structural formula (I) and its derivatives and chemical equivalents are new. Independent claims are included for: (1) preparation of (I), and (2) new (I)-producing Streptomyces microorganisms.
