Fabrication of superplastic zinc aluminum and silver alloys comprises production of ZiAlAg alloy ingots of specific composition. Casting using e.g. electric furnaces without the need for atmosphere control or thermomechanical treatment, enables alloys of over 1000 per cent deformation capacity to be produced, of attractive appearance and high strength.
