The spring has a projection part coaxially attached to a sleeve of a support part. A ring insert part is provided with a flap, which is rotated corresponding to an end piece of an arm. The end piece is connected with the support part. A terminal (5.1) of a spring body (5) is attached with the support part by an intermediate hole. The terminal is passed through the end piece of the arm. The spring body comprises another terminal (5.2) that is attached to the support part. A recess is formed between wings (1.3) that are provided with a tensioner. Two pins (6) are connected with the tensioner. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a tensioner spring in a lower part of visible arm awnings.
