Improvements in Spanish Patent No. 9,401,114, filedon May 20, 1994, covering improvements in axisymmetricnozzles of variable geometry and orientation of the flowwhich are intended for gas turbine engines. The nozzlecomprises control means for adjusting the throat area A~and vectoring the push, which means are formed by threerings concentric to the longitudinal axis of the engine,one inside, one intermediate, and one outside, and by aplurality of linear actuators; the outer ring includingtwo ring segments biarticulate to each other, whichlimits the ability to swing to a single plane and,therefore, can vector the thrust only in the plane ofpitch of the airplane.Use: On engines of twin-jet airplanes.
