A filter assembly for medical and laboratory use includes a housing. Thehousing includes a cover comprising an inlet and a bottom part comprising anoutlet. The housing also includes a plurality of spring levers distributedaroundthe circumference of the cover. The spring levers include hook,shapedprojections, the book-shaped projections connectable with the bottom part. Thefilter assembly can clamp a filter membrane or media sheet between the coverandthe bottom part in a fluid-tight manner.
