The invention relates to a method for simulating separation processescontrolled by mass transfer and heat transfer, using a core-film formulationfor describing an exchange which takes place on a phase boundary (P).According to said method, a considered transition region (10) of the core-filmformulation is discretised in order to iteratively solve a suitable, implicitdifferential equation system, enabling a differential equation system to beobtained.
