PURPOSE: A satellite broadcasting method is provided to perform line quality measuring, comparing, and line converting processes in a peripheral broadcasting area by a mobile station while broadcasting convertible information packets from a base station, thereby preventing broadcasting data from being omitted during the processes. CONSTITUTION: A mobile station(4) receives data packets(7) by a broadcasting line(6a), and receives convertible information packets(8). If the convertible information packets(8) are received, the mobile station(4) temporarily converts a receiving frequency into an 'f4' frequency, to receive a broadcasting signal of a peripheral broadcasting area. The mobile station(4) measures a line quality including an RSSI or a bit error rate, compares line qualities between the broadcasting line(6a) and a broadcasting line(6b), and carries out a line conversion control process.
