IP Router, Communication System and Band Setting Method Used Therein and Its Program

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP (Internet protocol) router capable of immediately performing routing processing corresponding to a change in traffic with a change in a selection criterion of an optimal server when a network topology is changed.;SOLUTION: A server supervisory function part 18 recognizes an active/inactive status, throughput and the like of each server through a health check on the basis of acquired location information of an origin server and a mirror server, notifies an optimal server selection function part 16 of the information and updates a server URL (user requirement language) list 17 on the basis of the location information. When the server supervisory function part 18 detects the change in the network topology from a change in an IP routing table, the optimal server selection function part 16 changes the selection criterion of the optimal server and notifies a QoS (quality of service) control part 13a of the change in the traffic.
