A FORMULATION OF TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE FOR PREVENTING AND TREATING OSTEOPOROSIS

The present invention belongs to the art of pharmaceutical formulation of traditional Chinese medicine. In particular, the present invention relates to a formulation consisted of effective ingredients extracted from Epimedium and pharmaceutical vehicles. Animal experiments confirmed that the present formulation can prevent and treat osteoporosis, increase the density of femur and contents of calcium and phosphorus in bone, and improve the index of femur. The present invention also provides the process for preparing the present formulation.
