Reagents that regulate human tripeptidyl peptidase II and reagents which bind to human tripeptidyl peptidase II gene products can play a role in preventing, ameliorating, or correcting dysfunctions or diseases including, but not limited to, cancer, CNS disorders, cardiovascular disorders, endocrine and hormonal disorders, metabolic disorders, inflammatory disorders, gastrointestinal and liver disorders, hematological disorders, and genitourinary disorders.
