A tool punch(5) for post-forming a polymer profile extruded onto a component has a tool surface(8) whose side ends are turned upwards away from the profile(2) in the longitudinal direction of the latter to avoid pressure application by the punch edges. A device is claimed in which the punch forms an injection mould with an injection orifice for forming a corner of a frame profile.
