METHOD FOR CRYOPRESERVATION OF TELEOSTEI SEMEN

The present invention refers to an industrial process for the cryopreservation of the semen of Teleostei. The process is based on the definition and utilisation of a freezing curve, which allows the reproducibility of the fertilization efficiencies obtained from the sperm frozen according to the present invention. A further aspect of the present invention relates to the use of such process and products in breeding programmes and genetic selection for industrial breeding.
