The inventive control device comprises capacitive means (5) which are connected to a first output terminal (3) in order to form a series circuit (1) with the aforementioned piezoelectric element (1). The device is characterised in that it comprises: means (16) for measuring the potential at a second output terminal (4) in order to provide a measurement value (Vm), and control means (10) which comprise an access port (19) for receiving the measurement value (Vm) and which are disposed such that, by switching a second circuit (6, 14, 15), the potential at the second output terminal (4) is maintained at a constant value which is essentially equal to the value of the potential corresponding to the measurement value (Vm) at the access port (19).
