A device for the production of shish kebabs is disclosed, comprising several insertion discs, which may be displaced relative to each other, or corresponding circumferential insertion strips, which may be individually filled with the foodstuffs for kebabing. The filled insertion discs then arrive in at least one position, lying behind each other in the axial direction, such that in this position a kebab skewer (51) can be displaced through the insertion chambers (17) with kebabing of the foodstuffs placed therein.
