Process and apparatus for the micro-wave treatment of solid residues from the thermal degradation of a charge containing organic matter

The process involves thermal degrading of a load under conditions e.g. temperature, by pyrolysis to form a load carbonaceous solid residue and a gas. The formed solid residue and the gas phase are separated. The solid residue is treated by a microwave radiation in the presence of an oxidizing agent e.g. air and oxygen. The microwave treatment is carried out on a hot solid residue under condition.
