A metal conical nipple (MCN) (1) with a central drilled hole (CDH) (2) has a pair of clamping surfaces (CS) (3) to limit the CDH in a peripheral direction. The CS are affected by a clamping angle (alpha) so as to adopt a radial slant towards a center surface plane on the MCN, which has a recess (4) running between the CS in a peripheral direction around the CDH. An Independent claim is also included for a pressurized reservoir for a common rail system in a piston internal combustion engine.
